2025 Vicki Soto Memorial Scholarship Recipients Announced

STRATFORD, CT – The Vicki Soto Memorial Fund is proud to announce the 2025 recipients of the Vicki Soto Memorial Scholarship. These exceptional students have demonstrated the passion, heart, and dedication that define outstanding future educators. Each recipient embodies the spirit and legacy of Vicki Soto—an inspiring teacher whose commitment to children continues to light the path for others.

This year’s scholarship recipients are:

• Raegan Wiltsie – Stratford High School - Attending Salve Regina University, majoring in Elementary Education.

• Ashlynn Taylor – Bunnell High School - Attending Marist University, majoring in Education and History.

• Emily Nestor – National Recipient from Liverpool High School, NY - Attending SUNY Brockport, majoring in Childhood Inclusive Multidisciplinary Education.

• Jennifer Socci – Connecticut Recipient from Newtown High SchoolAttending Central Connecticut State University, majoring in Secondary Education.
