The Vicki Soto Memorial Fund is proud to announce a donation to the Stratford YMCA, an
organization that has long been dedicated to strengthening families, empowering youth, and building healthy, thriving communities. This gift reflects our shared belief that learning and growth begin early, and that every child deserves support, encouragement, and opportunities to succeed.

The Stratford YMCA holds a special place in our hearts. Vicki herself spent time at the YMCA growing up—experiencing the same joy, friendship, and sense of belonging that many children feel there today. It was in spaces like this that her love of learning, laughter, and community first took shape. Supporting the YMCA is more than a donation—it’s a way to honor Vicki’s childhood roots and give future generations access to the same positive experiences.
The YMCA’s programs help children build confidence, develop foundational skills, and form meaningful relationships. From early childhood education to after-school care and summer enrichment, the Stratford YMCA offers safe and supportive learning environments that complement the work we do to promote literacy and educational access. By encouraging young minds to read, explore, play, and imagine, these programs nurture a love of learning that lasts well beyond childhood.
Our donation will help expand literacy-focused resources and educational opportunities at the YMCA. Whether it enhances classroom materials, supports family literacy initiatives, or helps create new learning experiences, this gift ensures that even more children can grow through reading, creativity, and play.
Thank you, Stratford YMCA, for being a pillar of community learning and childhood development. Together, we continue Vicki’s legacy of Living, Laughing, and Loving—in support of young learners and their futures.
