Supporting Our Littlest Learners: A Gift to the Vicki Soto Daycare

The Vicki Soto Memorial Fund is honored to announce a donation to the Vicki Soto

Daycare at Stratford High School. As one of the community’s earliest stepping stones in childhood development, this daycare plays a vital role in nurturing children from their very first years of learning. Supporting this program holds special significance for our foundation, as it strengthens early education within an institution that proudly carries Vicki’s name and values.

The Vicki Soto Daycare provides young children with a safe, caring, and engaging environment—one where curiosity is encouraged, stories are shared, and learning happens through play, exploration, and kindness. In these early years, even the smallest interactions with books and language help children build vocabulary, imagination, and critical social skills. It is here, in moments as simple as turning a page or listening to a story, that the foundation for lifelong learning begins.

Our donation will help support the purchase of board books and early literacy materials that are developmentally appropriate for toddlers and young learners. These resources are essential as they introduce children to language, pictures, rhythms, sounds, and the joy of storytelling.
