The Vicki Soto Memorial Fund is proud to announce a donation to the Vicki Soto Preschool at Stratford High School. This gift carries deep meaning for our foundation, as it strengthens early childhood education in a place that bears Vicki’s name and celebrates the
joy-filled legacy she left behind.
The Vicki Soto Preschool is more than a learning space—it represents a promise to continue Vicki’s life’s work: nurturing curious minds, promoting early literacy, and supporting children at the very beginning of their educational journeys. Here, young learners are encouraged to explore books, language, movement, art, and play in an environment built with love, care, and creativity. Every day in this preschool reflects the values Vicki held dear: kindness, learning, and joy.

Early childhood educators at the preschool help children discover words, stories, and ideas that build the foundation for a lifetime of learning. These experiences are essential in helping young readers develop language, confidence, and imagination long before they enter elementary school classrooms.
Our donation will support the purchase of board books and other early learning materials that make these discoveries possible. By placing high-quality literature and hands-on educational tools into children’s daily routines, we are investing in their future success as readers, thinkers, and learners.
Supporting this preschool is one of the most meaningful ways we can honor Vicki’s legacy. Every child who laughs through story time, holds a book for the first time, or begins recognizing letters carries forward the mission Vicki championed.
Thank you to the educators and staff of the Vicki Soto Preschool for fostering a love of learning in our youngest community members. Together, we continue her legacy of Living, Laughing, and Loving through the power of literacy.
