The Vicki Soto Memorial Fund is proud to announce a donation to the Stratford Public Library in support of its continued commitment to childhood literacy, community learning, and equitable access to books for all.

This gift reflects the very heart of our mission. Vicki was not only a passionate educator, but also a believer in the power of stories—how they spark imagination, strengthen skills, and open doors to endless possibilities. She knew that reading could build confidence, foster curiosity, and create connections far beyond the classroom walls. Stratford Public Library shares that same belief.
For years, the library has played an essential role in helping families discover a love of reading through early literacy programs, story times, book access, and community events. Their efforts align directly with our foundation’s work to bring books and literacy opportunities to children throughout Connecticut. Libraries are lifelong classrooms, and supporting their growth helps us honor Vicki’s legacy in a meaningful, lasting way.
This donation will assist the Stratford Public Library in expanding its literacy resources and continuing to engage young learners. Whether a child chooses their first board book, attends a reading program, or discovers a character they’ll never forget, every moment matters. Each experience echoes Vicki’s belief that every child deserves a chance to learn, explore, and thrive.
By investing in the library, we are investing in the next generation of readers, thinkers, and dreamers—just as Vicki did every day in her classroom.
Thank you, Stratford Public Library, for being a partner in literacy, community, and education. Together, we continue Vicki’s legacy of Living, Laughing, and Loving through the joy of reading.
